Tech exposes the flaws in the net ranking.

They are basically being propped up by some huge blowout wins against bad teams that are really helping their efficiency #s a ton.

Same with Houston.

Houston does have a resume issue though with 0 Quad 1 wins, going to need to snag a few of those to get a 3 seed or better

They both do.
Most are projecting tech as a 6 seed despite a top 10 ish net. Houston seems to be getting the benefit of the doubt from the pundits though as I've see a few that have them as a one but there is no way they end up a one if they dont get some q1 wins.

All of Houston's games over the last few have been complete blow outs.

Nobody doubts Houston's ability to absolutely blast mid teams. Honestly it's probably been the most impressive thing about them the last few years. If you're not close their level you get absolutely hammered.

But we're still talking about a team whose best win is a home win over a very bubbly BYU.

I think everyone's assuming they're going to pick up a few of these and that's why their projection is so high, but they still have to actually do it or the committee will punish them for it.

With UCF blowing out TCU I think it's a very real possibility that all of our losses are quad 1 tomorrow. We'd be 7-5 quad one and 8-0 in others

Today absolutely sucked but it's just a blip on the radar
