On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Radio, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as men's basketball and women's basketball both continue conference play and baseball and softball dominate the weekend.
Baseball
Jim Schlossngale & Co. remain undefeated, sweeping Wagner in dominant fashion. The Aggies outscored the Seahawks 40-4.

The Aggies will play Lamar on Tuesday at 6 p.m., and Arizona State twice and USC this weekend at Globe Life Field.
Softball
Despite needing an extra frame to do so, No. 17 Texas A&M escaped a scare from UTSA on Sunday afternoon as Trinity Cannon blasted a 265-foot walk-off grand slam, 5-1. Left-hander Emiley Kennedy did not allow a base hit until the eighth inning and struck out 16 Roadrunners to tie the program's single-game record.
Overall, the Aggies won five of six, with their one loss coming on Saturday against Kansas, 1-0.
Basketball
It was a rocky showing by the Aggies in Rocky Top, dropping their fourth consecutive conference game, 86-51. The lackluster performance in Knoxville has knocked Texas A&M off the bubble, needing an end-of-season spark to keep their postseason aspirations alive.
Joe Lunardi’s lastest bracketology has not been updated, but the Aggies will most likely be out of the mix as they were the Last Team In.
The Aggies will aim to boost that ranking on Wednesday at Reed Arena against South Carolina.
Women’s basketball
A significantly flawed outing added another blemish to Texas A&M's resume as the Auburn Tigers took care of the Aggies, 57-41, on Sunday. An inexcusable 29 turnovers halted A&M's offensive efforts, with no Aggie player finishing in double-digits.
Before Sunday’s contest, A&M was projected as one of the teams to receive a bye in the NCAA Tournament, sitting at a No. 11 seed according to Charlie Creme’s Bracketology. Auburn was listed as one of the Last Four In.
The conference foes may have flipped spots after Sunday. A&M’s final two games will likely determine whether the Aggies are in or out, excluding a potential run in the SEC Tournament.
A road contest at Tennessee and a regular-season finale vs. Alabama await.
Track & Field
Lamara Distin broke the women’s NCAA indoor high jump record on the way to her third-straight SEC title on the final day of the SEC Indoor Championships at the Randal Tyson Track Center.
Distin shattered the women’s NCAA indoor high jump record, as she became the first collegian to jump 2.00m/6-6.75.
Tennis
Men’s: 4-3 vs. Pepperdine, 6-1 vs. A&MCC
Women’s: 4-0 vs. Baylor
Equestrian
The No. 2 Texas A&M equestrian team defeated No. 3 SMU 10-8 Saturday afternoon on Senior Day.
