He specifically mentioned Texags and some of the specifics....."AD" for instance. The guy reads everything, and fan base attitude is important, especially ih the day of social media, portal and NIL.

Looking at the remaining schedule, what do you see? Two games against Tennessee, one against Bama, one against SC. If we don't pick off one of those, it may be hard to finish better than .500 in league play, because this team has a tendency to cough up a game against a team they should easily beat.

Going 50/50 in a tough league isn't something to be tremendously negative on, but it ain't great either.

Is this league that tough?

It's well above average and balanced . Even the weaker teams aren't that weak except perhaps Vandy. Any off night and you're probably staring at an L. I know Mizzou is 0-9 but they haven't been all that bad when I have watched them.

Well, we have 3 teams in the top 10 in the NET and 8 in the top 50, which is more than any other conference except the Big 12.

We are probably the 2nd best conference in college basketball right now. So yes, the league is that tough. At least statistically.

I'm a fan of broader conversation with fewer viewpoint restrictions, Muy. But the unhinged fans hiding behind relative anonymity to in essence be asswipes deserve yo be called out repeatedly as a matter of viewpoint freedom. If f they can't handle it, they should change channels. The so called manning up. But women letting their tushes hang out are exactly as deserving of opposition.

Coming here for the sole purpose of using anonymity to tear down the team or the coaches is a deep character flaw. It's still a fan board not an anti-coach board and most who are here respect there is a bright line between direct, substantial negative comments outcomes and the behavior above. You do, too.

The Big 12 is so far out in front of all the other conferences that it can be hard to even think of any other conference as "tough." But the metrics LOVE Auburn, Tennessee and Alabama, and Kentucky is still a valuable win even though they are "down."

You can probably group SEC, Big East and ACC together as contenders for the 2nd best conference. I lean toward the SEC due to the top star power and then a nice secondary group. The ACC has a good group in the middle (25-75 in the NET) but not the multiple teams at the top. Big East has some good star power at the top, but with only 11 teams it's hard to measure their depth.

I am happy to eat crow for calling out the things that frustrate me the most watching the team. Don't expect perfection, just expect to look fundamentally sound. In the end, I want every player and coach to succeed.

You've totally misread that.

IMO Buzz wanted to call it BS, overzealous policing, and/or targeting of an Aggie athlete or black guy, but he knows that's setting off a nuclear bomb to say that as a sitting HC.

He went about as far as you're going to go in that position with an active investigation.

More of an occasional viewer. But the times that I've watched our games this season, I've seen us take very bad shots, and handle the ball in a sloppy manner. Rebounding is average at best.

I like Buzz, and want both he and his teams to have great success, but I just don't see that we are all that good. Just north of average.

I really hope Buzz is here a long time and successful here, but at the end of the day he hasn't done anything bette than his predecessor. So I don't care if he wants to leave. He should either be happy he is over paid for his performance or GTFO. But don't be angry at the fans.

It's obviously mental because he seems to make them at the end of games when it matters. What happened to Manny? He was pretty good and now can't make anything.

I'm convinced we messed with kids mechanics in the offseason. Everyone shooting worse than last year. Returning players and transfers.

I watched/listened to the first 10 minutes. Apparently, Buzz doesn't want to hear/read any criticism of the team that he loves. Actually meet the expectations and there will still be criticism but way less of it. I question why he would be paying any attention to what is being said on the internet tbh. He should be doing ANYTHING else other than spending time on what texags has to say. He must know that people are going to say mean things about his team if they don't play up to expectations. He seems like he gets his feelings hurt a little too easily. I can't believe that he was like this at his other coaching gigs. It must come across different when his team exceeds expectations as opposed to not really meeting them. There's still a lot of games to be played. Get that sweet 16 win!
