Again, his highlight reel looks like that of an NBA player but too many inconsistent shooting nights and has to tightten up his handle.
I'd say he's more athletic than Caruso, but Caruso has elite court awareness on both ends of the floor.
I don't think he has the same skills to being able to get to the bucket like Caruso/Q, but has the physical tools to be a 3 & D type of player. Time will tell if he can consistently make those shots.

It is just three point shooting. If he can get that up from low 30's to high 30's he will make it.

Could be as good a defensive player, but Bowen averaged almost 40% from three for his career. He didn't shot very many, but someone at least had to check him. Dex doesn't have to be a great offensive player, but he can't have his team playing 4 on 5 when they are on offense.jaxisback said:

He’s an extremely athletic W/G who was one of the best Glue guys in college basketball and one of the better defenders.

His age probably hurts him a good bit. He's 24 going on 25, so not many teams want to risk a roster spot on a guy in his mid-20s who may not be able to adjust to NBA shooting in time.

I think he eventually gets a shot in the league. Might not be this year and might not be next year, but I think within 4 years he will have suited up on an NBA roster. Hopefully its sooner than later.

Fortunately more and more teams are seeing the benefits of G-League development. If Dex can land on a G-league roster somewhere or even land a full-on 2-way, I have no doubt he will crack a rotation.
