What's the most entries this thing has ever had? I just checked it and had Memphis not got absolutely hosed I'd be in the top 7 right now, potentially top 3. Absolutely outrageous.

How do the winners get paid out? Check, cash, some other form?

Cool... curious because I know Venmo reports payments over $500 (I think) to the IRS now. That's recent. That could be an issue.

If you look at the top 3 right now none of them picked any double digit seeds yet they all have multiple teams seeded 4 or higher.

Is it common in your pool for there to be a champion before the Final Four even begins? This is only my second year playing in it I think.

Only had that happen once in the pool I've ran forever (traditional bracket pool) and it was the only year I won when one of the Harrison twins for Kentucky hit the three on Michigan to advance to the final 4 as an 8 seed in 2013 I believe. I racked up so many points on them alone it was curtains.

It's not uncommon. Cause often times there are some 1 and 2 seeds in the final 4 and most people don't have any of those teams. And the one team got into the final 4 unexpectedly, all the top people have them so while people still get points nobody is jumping anyone.

Watching these games makes me sad. We are SO far away from these teams's level.

Not a whole lot of value in Big 12 teams. Five (5) of the seven (7) are a three (3) seed or better. The only two (2) who might be worth picking are Iowa State and TCU, both six (6) seeds. This type of contest doesn't favor the lower numbered seeds. I developed a model based on a quantitative analysis just for this contest that I am testing out. We'll see if how well it works.
