Putting this back up as we get ready to head home for the next to last home game.

There were doubts from some that the students and others would show up for these critical contests - but I believe we have had 10-12K show up for the last 3 home games (heck- we had good crowds for games prior to these last 3).

Hoping we can break 12K for both Tennessee and Alabama!

Originally posted 18 Jan - more than 6 weeks ago - those final 5 home games have turned out as I hoped at that time and up to now with the Ags in the thick of the conference race - though Georgia and Auburn have not been as strong as I thought they were 6 weeks ago.

Of course, this final jome game against Bama won't be for the regular season conference title like I had hoped - but it'll still be a critically important game for getting us the best seeding possible in the NCAAT.

The attendance at these final 5 games at home HAVE met my aspirational expectations - with the "black out" against Tennessee the best crowd of the season. I expect tomorrow's crowd to be even better!

BTHO Alabama tomorrow to get our home winning streak up to 11 in a row at Reed, send Nate Oats, Brandon Miller and their accomplices into the post-season on a losing note, and STAY at "+6" on Buzz's conference scorecard!!!

And there you have it.

Final 5 home games circled in mid January when we were showing signs of the team we would become.

Final 5 home games = 5 wins - including vanquishing 4 likely NCAAT teams.

And the fans came out as hoped for to provide outstanding support of our Aggie Men's Basketball Team in their incredible run to get our home winning streak up to 11 games in a row at Reed Arena.

We will have to continue this home winning streak next year.

Reluctantly retiring this thread now - as basically posting to myself - but out of superstition I had decided to keep it going until the final home game.

Going 4-1 down the stretch was really strong.

We lost the game I most expected we would lose. I think Ms St is a dark horse and a tough matchup for us. Great defense and length. If we run into them again the game plan will be different I believe . I thought we'd likely drop one of Bama or Tennessee as well.
