What's with out football and basketball teams making offense look so difficult?

I was really hoping we wouldn't look overmatched on this game.... But it's looking like we aren't the caliber of team I thought we would be this year. That's disappointing.
Another 8-10 win conference record and NIT bound
Looking really flat and overmatched
Really getting pounded. We seem to have the effort, but not much direction.
We miss more layups then any team I've ever seen.

We're bad. It's simple. It's so obvious how much better they are than we are… and they're decent at best. Unfortunately, I'm going to have a hard time continuing to follow these morons.
You would think with all the resources we have that we could build a decent basketball program. We make fun of cougar high but they got a great program. Why can't we?
Shaping up to be another 0 point half for Radford. He's had so many games this year where he's been offensively non-existent

We've had some success driving to the basket and driving fouls. Need more of this.

An lol pretty **** non-conference + 8 or 9 SEC wins won't won't get us an NIT bid. 10 is probably the minimum needed for consideration.
The officials are calling this game very much in our favor.
Maybe we can foul out their entire team?
We have solid, good, deep talent.
But we simply don't have any elite or NBA-level talent on this year's team. That makes things difficult with talented teams like Memphis.
It would require elite coaching - Buzz is doing a solid job this year, but haven't figured out the team and rotation yet.
There's just way too much talent in the SEC this year. It will get bumpy in conference before it gets better. I'm going to go with breaking even in conference, but anything above that will be heroic.

Coleman needs to not play in the second half
Only down by nine after that craptastic half. Maybe they can have a nice turnaround like they did last game. I'm not too hopeful, though.
FTs 13-16 81% kept us from getting blown out.
I guess the good news is this could be way, way, worse
Starting with Coleman who for some reason is getting close to equal minutes as Marble
It's fixing to get ugly we can't shoot.
Credit Buzz's stupid defense and bad recruiting. This roster is a bunch of defenders who can't play defense because the philosophy is ineffective.

This team has way too much talent to be this bad
It's really hard for me to understand how we are so bad defensively. We were pretty dang good defensively late last season. Got most of our better defenders back and added players who were supposedly good to great defenders. And yet we suck defensively. Frustrating…
That's nice of espn to switch this over to a UK commercial instead of talking about our game or other games.
