How does any Division 1 team go 11% on free throws?!?

Why are you always making these kind of posts where you call out a single player and just talk about how pathetic they were. One bad play and he cost us the game? You did this with Flagg most of the year but now he's shooting well and Mitchell is the scapegoat. But you're right I'm sure we'll be so much better next year when two of our best players may be gone because their "crap is weighing us down".

Because Flagg and Mitchell are guys we need to play smart, hustle, and shoot well to win. I don't get crazy mad if they shoot bad though.. as long as they are hustling and playing smart. But I do care when they play extremely lazy defense and have mental miscues most high schoolers wouldn't. Flagg shot very well today, but he had a bunch of absolutely idiotic turnovers. Mitchell didn't really do anything well today, and the effort on defense was not even close to what he's been giving the last 3-4 games. And it cost us big time.

Miller wasn't very good either today, which is why you saw Yeezy on the court, who played a really good game. Miller is young and just not experienced enough to make the right decision all the time. He'll learn. We don't have time for Flagg and Mitchell to learn. They are making fundamental mistakes, not scheme mistakes.

Yeah a lot of that is true and I agree. We do need them to play well to win. I just don't like blaming one player for us losing the game. We shot 11% from the free throw line as a team.

Yea it was probably heavy handed to blame it all on Mitchell. I'm just frustrated that every time these guys seem like they are figuring it out they fall back into their old habits.

We're just not very good

This isn't Disney where grit and hustle can beat actual talent
