What a sorry excuse for coaching we have. Now we see why all the players left last year. Although, we already knew why it was.
What a sorry excuse of a poster you are. Beside this ridiculous post, your post on the Texans board say a great deal giving up an hour into the game. Wow. Do us all a favor and quit posting.zooguy96 said:

It's not fair to Sumlin to compare him to BK. There was an outside market for Sumlin days after he was fired. No other program would touch BK with a ten foot pole, yet we hold on to him with no end in sight.zooguy96 said:
Yay, let's support mediocrity! Why we had Sumlin for too long. Why we've had BK for too long.

BK was not retained, extended, and given obscenely favorable and undeserved contract terms based on merit
When Sumlin was extended, other teams were looking to take him. Nobody else wanted BK when we extended him and gave him a buyout, to bootzooguy96 said:Captain Pablo said:

Neither was Sumlin. He was because of JFF.

The good news is his son wasn't there to roll in with 3 career three pointers which he then doubled in a single game at Reed or it could have been even worse.Cedar09 said:
Well Melvin Watkins is at Reed to start it off.
I don't doubt that. But other teams wanted him. He was hired days after we fired him.Captain Pablo said:Aston04 said:When Sumlin was extended, other teams were looking to take him. Nobody else wanted BK when we extended him and gave him a buyout, to bootzooguy96 said:Captain Pablo said:

Don't kid yourself
There was a lot of good old boy BS involved in Sumlins Employment

This is not a debateable. Were the terms of his extension/buyout horrible, yes. But there was a market for him. There's not market for BK and yet it didn't matter. Multi-million buyout for a coach with no leverage.

0-18 conference record was the connotation. We just lost the first one.
