This is a legitimate complaint. I walked away to do some honey do's when we were up by 16 (after the 24 point lead). They got within 6?!?

When you are up 20 you aren't caring near as much about who shoots the free throws. Up 6-8 you care. And in that last stretch Hogg and Gilder got to the line more and hit the free throws

Worst is an exaggeration (there are some awful coaches in D -1 ball) but he's not close to good enough for the new SEC. This conference is now taking basketball seriously and most schools have upgraded their coaching staffs compared to a few years ago.

Kennedy couldn't even get to 0.500 with a very talented team. What's he going to do when he doesn't have that edge (as soon as next year)? My guess is put up his worst conference record since his first 4-14 season, and he might beat that if Davis or Gilder surprise us and head to some euro league.

If you don't factor in past recruiting, it's not unreasonable to put bk near the very bottom in coaching skills.

Of course recruiting is part of the package. Although that appears to be tanking too going forward.

That's the problem. Because of the recent coaching upgrades in the SEC. 47% winning in conference is probably BK's ceiling from here on.
