AM had more energy and played mad. Robert often plays passive. Can jump, dunk and block shots. But is pretty low energy.

Goes down often it seems; used to be alarmed, but he's usually up and at'em by the time staff gets there. That kind of stuff will have to stop once he's getting paid.

And Jordan would've manhandled him physically at the same point in career. Just wasted a year of mental and physical development.

Define "turned".
Define "crowd".

Will never sniff nba.

Well you're wrong about that.
Correction make it in the NBA. He will get chance to play but will not stick.

See DeAndre Jordan as exhibit 1.

Other exhibits:

Clint Capela
Steven Adams
Bruno Caboclo
Hassan Whiteside

Moral of the story: patience with completely unpolished one-and-done guys (and yes, I consider Rob's years with us as one year) can seriously pay off. DeAndre, Capela, and Adams are top 5 centers in the league now. Each took at least 3 years to really develop. Sure it doesn't happen for EVERY one-and-done big guy (Hasheem Thabeet, Jahlil Okafor, Cody Zeller), but your pitch to these one-and-done guys as an NBA scout is, "hey, we're not promising you make it, but we'll definitely give you a better shot at making it than the sorry-ass coaching staff on your current team."

You guys are a bunch of turds for dumping on Williams in this thread. All of us are disappointed that the season isn't turning out like how it could have early on but that's no reason to kill the kid. In that moment, with the ball bouncing out there he made a split second decision to pick it up rather than dive on it. When you watch in slow motion it looks like he's being lackadaisical but in real game time he sees the ball, takes one step and goes to grab it.

He made the wrong decision as we know because the Miss St player dove for it and grabbed it but it's asinine to take this one play and use it to define him. If you watch the games closely, Williams sprints the floor better than almost anyone on the team. His game has shortcomings, but I don't see effort as one of them. He's raw and talented but not lazy.

It's easy to criticize from your couch, much different when things are happening at game speed.

This board has turned the mob mentality to High the past week. Don't worry, we will stop anyone from disparaging Billy Kennedy, a man paid millions of dollars to do a job. Players who chose to attend the school, they are free game. Say as much hateful filth as you like about them.

Dove on the floor against Vandy. Got a low five from BK.

Only a low five? Didn't have the energy for a high five?

It was a pretty hard low five though. High energy hand slap. Maybe a 6/10z

I was at the game and agree. RW had no idea anyone else had a play on it as the Miss St guy came from his blind side. It doesn't make sense to dive for a ball if nobody else is in contention.
