Fast forward to Saturday. If we're there, UCLA's defense scares the crap out of me.

At times, our offense looks completely lost out there. We dribble around the perimeter until the shot clock is down to about 8, and then try to force something or jack up an outside shot. That was a common occurrence even in the tournament, but we were fortunate to have some hot shooting from the outside.

If we can hang with Kansas, we can hang with UCLA. But it's gonna take some more offensive scheming and similar outside shooting.

Fast forwarding is dangerous. We need to worry about BYU and ONLY BYU. UCLA shouldn't exist for us until we get by BYU.

well it's a good thing we're fans and we're discussing a tournament that almost all of us will have zero affect on. Kansas's d is just as good as UCLA's. UCLA should have lost several of their last games, but they were bailed out by the pac 10. Have to protect the conferences #1 seed.

BYU

They're beatable but we'd have to play our
BEST game of the season. If we shoot less than 45% and 35% from 3pt-land, we're toast.

But ................ we still have to beat BYU and I'm worrying about that ... then UCLA.

I'm not on the team...are you? Last time I checked, fans playing "what if" didn't have much of an effect on the players.

OK ... it's dangerous for the team and not even an academic exercise if we don't beat BYU.

Please don't even talk about UCLA right now...this team has proven it can lose to teams like BYU. I expect BYU to be a tough, close game. I will be happy if we even make it to UCLA. We might be playing better lately, but we routinely fall on our face and could again vs. BYU!!! Post again if we get a win in game 1.

yea, lets not talk about UCLA, the #16 seed they play i think is the best #16 seed out there, they could be our opponent...

We made some "interesting" shots against Kansas that helped keep it close. We have to have that same type of shooting efficiency to keep it close.

UCLA scares me as well. I don't know that Burgess and Murdock and Fredette will be able handle their guards. Plaisted will have a tough time. I hear that Love guy is good. I'll be curious to see how Cummard does.

Let's hope we score alot more than ZERO against them.
