is what is wrong with a&m fans. there is not one group of fans (college or pro) that has more of an obsession that a&m does for ut. it's not even close really and i get sick of it. i for one am glad the sips one. it makes our win look better and makes winning the big 12 a better possibility. (yes, a small one, but it's still there.)

You can root for Texas to lose for other reasons than them being a rival.

I, for one, wanted Texas to lose, because I don't see us having a legit shot at the #1 spot. And if Texas would have lost, it would have been easier to catch them. Therefore we would help our seeding in the big 12 tournament.

Except for some reason, no one even in the media seems to remember that we destroyed them LAST FREAKIN WEEK.

I don't think it's wrong to want tu to lose. At this point winning the big 12 is very unlikely.

I am actually looking at the bigger picture beyond the big 12. I want tu to lose every game possible and us to win out, but the chances are small.

Ultimately I just want us to look better than tu when the season is done, but with the wins tu has, it doesn't look good. I want us to have the better seed in the tournament. I want us to have a better chance at seeing Houston during the tournament.

Win in Austin and all of your dreams come true...and, we still have a shot at the Big 12 title.

That's the problem with some Ags. They are so worried about how TU is doing. I for one say PI$$ on TU, I would rather worry about winning National Championships!

Call me obsessed and a little bit selfish, but I want NC's AND for tu to fail at the same time...

I wanted Texas to win as soon as the game was over. I found it impossible to root for them though during the game and the main reason is because they are our rival and when they do well I don't like it. I don't get why so many people hate to aknowledge the hate. It isn't obsession it is a rivalry. It is how it works.
