at this point it would be a travesty to get less than 6 teams in. especially if the pac10 is talking about getting 8 f-ing teams in.

Big 12 is the best conference in the country.

The stats back it up to. We had the highest pre-season win percentage and we had the most wins againt ranked teams.

It would be tough to make a case for a sixth team.

Just depends where that #6 team falls - if it is a depleted OU, I can see them not making it at 6-10 or 7-9. I hope we can get a team to 8-8 or better in that slot to have a good chance to go dancing.

there's a 3-way tie for 6th in the conference right now between NU, OU, and TT. they are all 3-5.

Twice this morning I have heard basketball experts on radio station say that the Big XII obviously isnt as good as we thought or that it is "down" because of last nights game What the **** find of double standard are we dealing with here? If that was an ACC game last night we wouldnt hear the end of how great the conference is and how every game is a battle. We are the best conference in the country and we have people saying now that they dont think we have a team capable of earning a #1 seed? What the **** do people smoke?

It's all about perception. We're the Big 12 so we're not a great basketball conference. Very weak.

It's gonna be hard to get that 6th team in just because of RPI. One of those 3-5 teams would need to get to 9 wins (including the conference tourney) at least to have a shot.

It's a pretty big gap between our 5 best teams and #6.
