Instead, tu losing means that we will move into 3rd place in conference tonight with the chance to really put them away next Monday. In essence, two tu losses in the next seven days clinches a first round bye for us in the B12 Tournament.

Anything can happen, and I'd love to win the regular season title, but as any KU fan can tell you, they don't mean squat. There is little difference between the top four spots if you perform well in the conference tourney and have a good RPI and ranking. That is the intelligent view of things.

I don't think you are understanding what everyone in the "texas winning camp" is getting at. You are arguing our point. Do we think KU will lose anymore after this? no. That is exactly why we need texas to beat them. We could hand them their third loss and if we took care of business, and be ahead of them and texas. That does still leave KSU, but I think they have two or three losses ahead of them. I understand you may be thinking "realistically," but we still have a chance to beat texas and be ahead of them even if they beat KU tonight. We just have to take care of our own business.

And it may mean squat to KU fans seeing as I am pretty sure they have almost all of them and I am sure it gets old, but for a school like ours with exactly zero championships it means a hell of a lot.

I'd like to see tu win for a few reasons.
1) It will make our game there next Monday bigger and a beter win for us. I like big wins especially against the sips.
2) Gives us a shot at the Big 12 title. If we win out and the rest of the games go as they should we share the title. I'd rather share it with KU, KSU, and tu then let KU have another all to themselves.
3) I don't care about the big 12 tourney.

If we dont win out which is a likely possibility, none of it matters except the NCAA tourney which matters the most anyway.

We had all these same discussions last year when tu went to KU. If tu had won we would have had a 3 way tie for the conference title. Ask our girls team if they like their shared title.

Guys, Kansas will win by 20 so no point in arguing. Let's all play nice and sing the Aggie War Hymn now

You clearly dont understand...kansas probably isnt going to lose again before they play us if they lose tonite...if we go on and beat them that ties us atop the big 12. K-State has a tough schedule ahead of them including playing at kansas, texas and at baylor...it is very possible for them to lose 2 more which would tie them atop the big 12 as well.

The odds may not be in our favor of us winning out but its possible...and if kansas loses tonite then it gives us a chance to win the big 12

if you'd rather play for seeding in the big12 tournament which means nothing...then so be it and you are dumber than i thought

The best interest of the Ags would be for Kansas to kill t.u. Do you even realize what the best interest is? It's not the B12 tourney. It's the NCAAs.

If tu keeps winning, they get slotted into the Little Rock - Houston - SA bracket/road to SA.

We need them to have some more losses hung on them so we're the Texas school giving that cush bracket.

Can't believe some of you are actually more worried about a trophy for the regular season hoops championship than a Final Four bid.

This is not even close to right. KSU has to lose THREE more times for the Ags to win the Big XII championship (even with the Ags winning out). I think I'll take a tu loss and one step closer to a sure buy in the 1st round.

KSU only has to lose twice more for us to control our destiny to be co-champs (there is no "tiebreaker".

Doesn't really matter though -- KSU will lose 3 more times.

Four? We take care of business we can pull out a three seed. And still, I'd gladly 'sell out' for a 4 seed and never having to go farther than Little Rock, Arkansas for a chance at a FF berth.
