We got him for 4 yrs the way he's playing

and hopefully he learns how to play in those 4 years.

I understand that his offense is still developing, but we need him to be an animal on the defensive end. He needs to stop worrying about fouling and start dominating the lane on defense. He should be attacking shots in the lane and making people think twice about even attempting a shot. Right now he is not doing that. His defensive rebounding has been good though.

He's playing without purpose or confidence.

If he's going to foul at least make it count. Hammer somebody when they put up a shot. He stood there with his hands up and let the guy get an and 1. I know he could have sent that shot 10 rows into the stands.

he also forgets to get back on his man.

when he is in on defense they score on the inside all day it seems like...

he looked coordinated and athletic...now he looks goofy and out of shape

and hes playing MUCH better this half!

He has hit 4 free throws in a row - quite an improvement there.

But I really do think we keep him at least another year. Fort Worth Star Telegram did a story on the top freshmen in the Big XII - he wasn't in the top 5.

now he is at 66% for the game!
