I love how the opposing teams point total is a perfect reflection of defense in people's eyes. The baskets mizzou HAVE made have been way too easy. Layups and wide open jumpers. Don't misjudge their poor shooting and missed layups as great defense from us.

I may be crazy, but if you hold a team under 60, that's pretty good defense. If you give up 80, you didn't play very good defense.

Football Team A: Throws the ball in the endzone 3 different times and drops 3 sure touchdown passes. Defender nowhere around just blatent drops.

Football Team B: Scores 10 points in the game and wins 10-0.

Did Team A hold them to no points, yes. Did they play good defense, no. Just because a team doesn't score doesn't mean they were well defended. They have a hand in it offensively too.

Well, in order to win you DO have to hit your open shots and you DO have to hit your free throws. That is generally key to winning games, unless the other team is sucking worse than you are. Right now that isn't the case.
