For some reason tweets within posts are not showing up any longer. Just shows as an empty quote bubble with nothing in it. It just started happening a few days ago. I've not changed any settings.

A little help please. TIA!

I've been having this issue all week. Posted about it on the Nerdery and no one knew what was wrong.

Is the tweet below showing up for you?

On mobile I've found that you have to wait for them to load for 5-10 seconds. Didn't used to do that.

Just a FYI, there is a technical help forum, and they actually do answer these kinds of questions. Not saying to move this thread, just giving a heads up for anyone having TexAgs website problems.

If you're Texagging while working, Twitter is probably blocked at your office.

There's a thread about this on our Tech Support forum. It looks like Landon is looking into it, but it apparently could be caused by ad blockers or browser extensions. I'm going to move this thread to the tech support forum and I will have Landon take another look.

Problem exists for me on default internet browser, but not on Chrome. Wonder if it is a browser compatibility issue. My work around is to switch browsers for TexAgs

We've had several reports of this over the week. So far it's only been Android users. Anyone here with problems on something other than Android?

Yeah I think Adblock plus blocks tweets. I use uBlock origin and it works fine.

Just checked and chrome app on android worked fine. The tweets are the last thing to load in but it's still almost immediate.

I can see it on my Android IB but not Brave. Must be an ad block problem maybe? Still can't find where anything changed on my end, and I've used Brave for a few months.

Disable 3dlrd party cookies and the tweets go away again

I suspect that might be the cause for most people's troubles on here.


How to enable 3rd party cookies on mobile Chrome:

in the Chrome menu go to Settings > Site Settings > Cookies.

Make sure "Allow third-party cookies" is checked. Apparently disallowing third-party cookies has been preventing the embedded tweets from showing.

Any idea to get it working on a chromebook? NM got it

I have been having this issue for a while now using Firefox on my home laptop. They show up fine in Internet Explorer/Edge and Chrome. I can even see them while at work on their outdated computers. It may have something to do with the recent upgrade Firefox did. I have looked around in settings, but nothing yet works. Any ideas? I know, don't use Firefox.

Edit to add: I think I fixed it. I disabled Tracking Protection in the privacy settings and it seems to work now!
