on texags mobile app. Earlier 1 tap as usual. Now takes a double tap to go back. Same on my iPhone and iPad. Happen to anyone else?

Happening to me. Just realized it wasn't my phone just sucking, because the first back click results in you being able to go forward as well.

Likely an auto redirect being done to the topic that is unnecessary.

The back button issue was a consequence of the refresh button we recently added to the mobile site.

The browser was treating each "refresh" as navigating to a new page.

We've fixed the back button problem. Unfortunately, to do this we had to sacrifice the yellow post highlighting when the refresh button was used (for now).

I'll admit to being technologically inept - but I"m having to hit back twice on my computer (safari/os 10.8.4) to go back a page on texags. If that's a new "feature" of texags - well, ok. Not good, but whatever. What's confusing is I'm also having to do the same thing on another message board I read and also on other web sites in general.

I know TexAgs knows everything, but surely they don't have total domination over my browser! ;-)

No - it is on the main site for me. I have not been on mobile today.

If I enter a thread and scroll down even a little and then hit the back button (right click/back) , it repositions me to where I came onto that page. A second time on the back button takes me back out to the (whichever) forum page.

Happens on mobile for me. Using iPhone and the safari browser.

Edit: Should add, I haven't tried the main site.

Mobile for me also. Used main site earlier with no problem. To those having issue on your computer, I suggest checking to make sure it's not a google Adwords malware/spyware redirect. Sounds like similar symptoms to me.

When I hit the back button once, nothing moves, it's just as if I didn't hit anything.

Before and after I click back the address remains the same:

Do you remember when this started happening for you?

Yesterday (Thursday)

I first noticed it around 5 this evening. Didn't notice yesterday but doesn't mean it wasn't there.

Don't know if it helps but after I hit the back button, and nothing happens, I am able to hit the forward button, again nothing happens. I can go back, forward, back, forward as much as I want.

Edit: tried the chrome browser on iPhone and it seems to work fine.

Back button takes me to top of page second back button takes me back. On mobile android stock browser. Pita.

When I hit the back button, nothing happens. I believe started Thursday. Come on texags, fix this.

Happening to me also on Safari. Noticed it on Friday on iPhone. Now I see it's happening on my old iMac also.

It's happening on a few other sites for me now also. Pretty frustrating.

Works like it should on chrome for iPhone.

I have observed this just now on both the main and mobile sites in Safari. I am on iOS 6.1.3.

This doesn't happen when I browse with Chrome.

The only sites it is affecting me on are forums.

That seems to be the case with those 3 links also.

I'm only experiencing the issue with TAs and that Biker forum you linked. I tried a couple other random forums and couldn't replicate the issue

I only see it with the forums main page. This happens on both my laptop and iPad. It depends on js.

Seems to be working right now. For me at least
