I'm noticing several Rookie accounts without Ag tags or anything else in these picks recently.

Makes me think we've outgrown our original intent and might need to consider restricting future picks to Aggies only/established post history/etc.

I read it much more as there are people who are rookies or not typically on the bourbon threads posting "In" on lots of new bottles, so it's extended further than these bottle picks really intended to go. Doesn't particularly bother me per se as usually there are plenty of bottles to go around, but this was definitely more of a unique situation given the limited bottles. Of course we didn't know we had such limited bottles initially so hard to monitor it. Overall, I think it's fine for open season on these bottle picks unless it's a known hard to get bottle or unique deal. Not sure how we monitor that though. Maybe in these instances we have an email list for repeat buyers and frequent posters that we can email before it goes "live." And again, not sure how we determine who gets on that list. I've done 4-6 bottles but don't post a ton so I might not even qualify. Just thinking out loud.

Echoing that I think the intent of this post was to try to get bottles of the picks into the hands of people who have been part of the community here, and not to people who find out we are doing a pick and then make an account to claim a bottle.

The pick team has delivered time and time again over the last few years and we have had some outstanding whiskey come across this board. I expect the same with this bottle, and will continue to say that the work put in for logistics and coordinating everything is so generous
