Reposting from Premium board. My buddy has reserved a charter bus and is generating interest. Thought it be cool to have a mobile bottle share along with some brisket.
Howdy Austin Area Ags-
A group of Dallas Ags use a charter bus to get to and from the football games. Did some research on what that would look like from Austin and I'm gauging interest here. Details below as well as a survey to gauge interest.
A charter bus seats 56 people and has a 15 hour utilization cap (10 driving hours). The cost per person would be $65. The bus includes wifi and we are allowed to bring our own food and beverages (including alcohol for those of age).
Using the Sept 2nd New Mexico game as a reference, the day would look like this:
Noon: Charter departs pickup location (I used the Target at 290 and Mopac in South Austin as a planning point but we can rotate pick up locations north and south if we get serious).
2pm: Arrive in College Station
6pm: Gametime!
90 min. after game completion(~11:30pm): Charter departs for Austin (likely the west side of Reed)
~1:30am: Charter service concludes at point of origin.
