I'm trying to add to my list of simple, low ingredient cocktails. I'm wondering what everyone's favorite 2 ingredient drinks are on Texags.

Garnishes don't count as an "ingredient".

Here's a few of my go-to's.

Gin and Tonic + Lime

Kentucky Mule: Bourbon and Ginger Beer + Lime + Mint sprig

Dark and Stormy: Rum and Ginger Beer + Lime + dash of bitters

Don't do it. They actually taste pretty good, weirdly like a red vermouth almost? But really, I've never been that sick after drinking again. I still remember it over a decade later.

Dinner at La Griglia in Houston recently. The waiter came over for our drink order. I asked for a martini. The waiter asked what type of vodka I wanted. I agree with you, disgusting. However I did win a bet with my friend because I told him that would be the question the waiter would ask!

Rum or whiskey and coke never fail me in a pinch or if I'm feeling lazy. Muddled basil FTW if you don't consider that a 3rd ingredient.

I'd consider basil a garnish so doesn't count towards an "ingredient".

no different than a whiskey or tequila mule. They aren't mules, they are bucks though and no one uses that term.
