I'm new to Fireball Whiskey (yeah I know lol) and wondered what's the best way to drink it? Cold or Room temp? Sip it or mix it with something? Thanks for any info.

Shots out of the freezer is about the only way to choke it down
It's pretty good in dr pepper if you like a sugar overload.
I'm not sure there is a good way. The way I've found that works is cold out of the freezer chased with Lone Star or High Life. The day after tends to be a mother****er, but if you're dead set on drinking Fireball that's the price you pay.
Definitely cold. Definitely as a shot. Likely followed by a cheap adjunct lager.

Yeah I was gonna say on a ski lift between runs is the only way I can imagine choosing to drink it. It is pretty dang good that way, though.
Shots at miles 4 & 10 of a half marathon, then a post-race shot.

My wife likes it cold from fridge as a shot. It tastes like liquid Red Hots candy to me, so I don't usually drink it. I did put some in some.hard cider, and I thought that was pretty good.
I prefer it with egg nog. But that's seasonal
I may be alone on this, but I don't drink anything I won't enjoy drinking straight. If I have to mix something with it, I'll pass. That's not to say I don't enjoy mixed drink from time to time.

So I had just taken 1 shot of it cold the other day and liked it but the more I hear about it people make it sound like it's mega strong and gives you the worst hangovers like Jagermeister or something. Is that true? Is it a worse next day liquor than others?

Only if you have a low tolerance. It's only 33% alcohol.

It's the sugar more than the proof, IMO.
I like to keep flavored "whiskey" like fireball in my birdie bottle in my golf bag. I like Leopold Bros stuff the best but it's expensive. Jack Daniel's Fire and Honey are both more enjoyable and easier on the hangover than Fireball IMO.

Pour a shot. Throw it out. Wash glass. Pour bourbon. Enjoy at your leisure.
Dry hard cider, drink the neck, pour in fireball, thumb over bottle top, flip to mix and try not to spill when it foams up. Pretty decent. Used Angry Orchard in college and called them Angry Balls.
