Just bought a 2.3 pounder from, Moody's. It will be dinner Saturday or Sunday.

Stupid deep cuts - won't go back there till they open their storefront.

Asked them for a big hangar steak once. Biggest they had, because I was having company over. They gave me one smaller than the usual I would get from there. I said I'll need a second since it's so small. They came back with a second one that was 35% bigger than the first one.

I called the guy out on it and he was like, hey man - were just trying to fill orders.

I used to be on a first name basis w all those dudes because I was there every week. No more. Na-uh

G5 Cattle - they slang pichanea - best american waygu I've had, and some of the best waygu period (and I've had real deal A5 from Japan). I meet these guys wherever they are set up for the weekly farmers market so I can get my fix. Don't sleep on the ground beef.

Snake River Farms - order online and they ship in dry ice. More expensive that G5 but very similar quality. My dad's go-to online butcher (lives in NW Houston)

Grilled to perfection? All I see is raw meat...

Sorry...too excited when I pulled them off and never got pics. They didn't last long at all.
