If you bought this from a retailer with the intention of reselling at secondary, and have the option/ability to return it to the retailer, that is probably your wisest option. These were selling for $7,500 at Specs here in Dallas, and they are currently moving for between $5,000 and $6,500 on the major national bourbon exchange groups on Facebook. So if you don't want to drink it, and don't want to take a loss, it may make sense to return it.

Buffalo Trace was trying to test cutting into the secondary market with this release, but they timed it poorly, right when the secondary market has cratered. My guess is their next high-dollar special release will be more in the $1,000-2,500 range.

Honestly I just hadn't been in here in awhile and wanted to liven things up.
