No fast food, no chains. What's the best burger in Houston?

Come to Smithville and eat a burger at Your Mom's.
Edit to add: Your Mom's is actually the name of the burger place. They were in Austin and decided to close up shop and move out East.

Hippo Burger in Humble
That was Sherry's Kitchen. She closed a couple years ago. Sherry had a great burger but I believe Your Mom's is better. They do a cheese stuffed patty on their burgers and they are delicious. I made the mistake of ordering a double meat burger the first time I went. I ate all of it but definitely shouldn't have.phideaux_2003 said:Texmid said:

Will have to try it. Is the little place off Main right at the rail track still there? I want to say it was a lady's name... Sally's? Sarah's? Something like that... they always had a very respectable burger.

I probably know your aunt and uncle. I still live here but was City Manager for 14 years.
