I wasn't exactly sure where to post this thread so bear with me...

I'm getting married in March and want to have a cigar table for the reception. Does anyone know of place that would apply custom bands with our initials? The first letter in my name is A and her's is M so we're wanting the band to say A&M if possible.

We probably need two boxes of 50 cigars with the custom bands already applied.


Anyone know of such place online or in the Houston/The Woodlands area?

We had different party favors for my ceremony, although some friends and relatives did have cigars. I posed for at least one photo with one (freshly unwrapped, little consumed).

It's pretty easy to do and you'll save a good amount of money if you do it yourself. I made these bands when my son was born (I'm Jr., he's #3) and put them on some La Flor sticks I bought a box of. Turned out really well. Just use thin high quality paper and a small spot of double sided tape.


Go to a cigar shop and ask the salesperson for a good, mid-sized, middle of the road (not too dark, not too light) cigar you can buy in bulk. I think I paid $5-6 each for mine and they are cigars that I would smoke on any other occasion, too.

This place gave me a quote for 100 cigars with custom bands: $856.00

For the record, I have never used them...I just was curious about the same thing you were, so I googled.

Yeah, yeah...I know.


Just sharing the info. This much more expensive than I first thought...

$8 per stick is not bad for good sticks. I'm curious about te quality though...
