We tried the Lemon Bliss two weeks ago. I had half a bowl and couldn't finish it. We were very disappointed. It's the only Blue Bell flavor my husband and I dislike.

On a different note, we gave our year old daughter Homemade Vanilla for the first time at the Houston Rodeo. She loved it!

What is the best "chocolate" flavor of Blue Bell? I like the natural vanilla flavor, because it has so few ingredients. If I am going to add mix-ins, I want to add them myself. However, I cannot find a "clean" version of chocolate ice cream.

As a side note, for the lactose intolerant people, the Kroger on 158 in Bryan now sells Breyers chocolate lactose-free, not just vanilla.

Homemade vanilla
Mocha almond fudge
Dutch chocolate
Pralines and cream

I haven't had ice cream in a while, but we're having a cookout this weekend so we got some gallons to serve. So bad for you, but so so good. I can't wait!

I prefer milk chocolate over the dutch chocolate because it seems creamier/smoother to me.

Also the lemon bliss would be great without the cookies.

Yikes. Just found my favorite chocolate ice cream. And it is not Blue Bell. Kroger Private selection chocolate ganache. There, I said it. I WISH BB made a chocolate ice cream as good.

I'm not usually a fan of anything too out of the ordinary, but the new lemon sounds interesting and wedding cake sounds like it may be worth trying, too.

Tried the Italian cream cake and it was pretty good. Not anywhere close to their best, though.

Tried pecan pralines and cream for the first time recently and it instantly became my new favorite ice cream. It's ridiculous.

Yeah its definitely in my top 10 for sure.

not sure i can rank it above pecan pralines and cream, cookies and cream, rocky mountain road, coconut fudge, but butter crunch is right there with them.

Its sad how big of a blue bell fiend I am. Its been a weekend tradition for me for 3 decades.

I'm also not a fan of the Italian cream cake flavor. The first couple of bites were good, but then it started developing this weird, chemical taste.

I think the weird chemical taste was from the cream cheese, or whatever the icing part is. Not good.

Italian Cream Cake now officially has broken the record for the longest a gallon of Blue Bell has sat in my freezer. Two weeks. Everyone liked the first bowl, no one wants more than the second bowl. The cream cheese is weird. Bad when the kids will not eat it. And it has no chocolate, so I am not interested. Definitely not worth the calories. I will not buy again.

I bet the Italian cream cakes is too sweet. Most BB ice creams are too sweet. And of course full of artificial crap.
