I don't eat green key lime pie either. For some hair brained idea they think if it is "mint" or "lime" it must be green. Almost all Blue Bell ice creams are full of artificial flavors. If Blue Bell made a lemon ice cream I'm sure they would make it yellow.

I just managed to find a pint of the Mint Cookies 'n Cream. I think I might have found my new favorite flavor. I always liked cookies 'n cream, but the mint just takes it over the top!

We would always make homemade ice cream in vanilla and then we could add our own additions to each bowl to get unique flavors. I would add chocolate chips and green creme de menthe. I still think this is the best mint chocolate chip and I don't think it would be the same without the green color.

Blue Bell Lemon Bliss Ice Cream

I bought a pint of Lemon Bliss last night. Easily my favorite ice cream flavor, yet.

My main goal in life is to find a beer as cold as a woman's heart

I saw the Lemon Bliss and was very tempted to get it but just went with Butter Crunch instead. Butter Crunch is still my favorite

I just saw this and I love lemon (see yogurt custard thread). So after I eat the mint cookies and cream I will have to try this. Does it come in pints or only in half gallons?

That Lemon Bliss looks amazing. Lemonades are my favorite Girl Scout cookie so this appears to be right up my alley.

My faves are:

Dos Amigos
Mint Choc Chip
Cookies and Cream
Vanilla Bean
Choc Chip Cookie Dough
Milk Chocolate

I used to eat Dos Amigos on my days off when I worked at LLYC and I miss that. Cannot find that flavor to save my life but I remember it came in a bright blue tub. I think I might be lactose intolerant because my last cookies and cream indulgence ended in pure pain straight through the next day. I hope it was a fluke...

If you like girl scout Lemonades and/or Golden Oreos, then Lemon Bliss is right in your wheelhouse.

I finally picked up a pint of the Lemon Bliss and even the girl ringing up my groceries said it was good. I hope to try it later this week when some of the food I ate last week wears off.

My favorite is still Chocolate covered cherries. Banana pudding a close second.

I'll stick up for Spicewood on the opinion of Blue Bell. Why do they have to load it with so many artificial colors and flavors? Some of their best stuff is the simple homemade vanilla without the extraneous crap. I bought a half gallon of pistachio almond and was floored when I read that pistachios were not a listed ingredient. Almonds are listed, but no pistachios. They must come under "natural flavoring." Call me old fashioned but pistachio ice cream should list pistachios as an ingredient. That just ain't right.

The reason spicewood is called out for his opinion is because he spews his negative view and thoughts of Blue Bell Ice Cream every chance he gets, warranted or not. It almost seems like an unhealthy obsession.

Spiced Pumpkin Pecan - absolutely love this one
Rocky Mountain Road - delicious!

Recently tried Mexican Praline - would probably buy again

Currently trying Lemon Bliss - okay but won't buy again

Well I finally got to try the Lemon Bliss and I like the lemon ice cream, but not a big fan of the cookies. Looking for more new flavors to try.

We got red velvet cake this week for the first time. Delicious.

Lemon Bliss is excellent.

Theo I think you would Erin the minority on that one. I thought it was terrible.

To ea h his own. Try the blue bunny Duff Goldman red velvet it is way better imo

Ben & Jerry's Red Velvet Cake was better.

My favorite flavors are always the ones they no longer make. Years ago, they had one called Fruit Special, which I loved as a kid. I haven't seen it in a long time. I also craved the defunct Lemon Custard and was overjoyed to find that Lemon Bliss is essentially Lemon Custard with cookie chunks added. I simply remove as many of the cookie pieces as I can (too sweet) and I'm good. Too bad it's a seasonal flavor.
