Macdonald's about 8 years. I'd totally forgotten about it. Haven't met Alex in person, but we've emailed and I've sent him some wine.

Piper, no wait list at all, uncertain there was one. Just emailed him, told him what we're doing wine-wise around here and ordered some wine.

Weird, I've been on the Piper wait list for years. I get newsletters but never any option to buy wine.

How was it? I have a 2010 and a couple of 2017s on hand. Can't recall the exact mix of those 3, but 2 of the 3 are the Merlot centric blends.

Honestly if you're on the list and signed up within the last 5 years you will probably never get an allocation. They have almost 100 % re purchase and they are not getting enough additional fruit to add many new members

Ha! I get that.

Father Time has to help though, right? Gotta be a lot of older guys that are buyers that when they pass their kids aren't into wine, don't have the income, or just aren't that passionate about it.
