These older Leo's in good condition drink so nicely! Had I think a 90 last night or a 95 and it was really good.

Place I bought my wine from the bottles are all moldy and look shady but are very good.

This is a syrah drinker's Pinot for sure. If I was blindfold tasting it I'm not so sure I would know for sure it was one or the other! Been a while since I've delved in Burgundy. There was a savoriness and light floral/violet note to this one.

A really tasty $20 white to pair with fish tonight. It's mostly Riesling and Gewurztraminer from Oregon. More people need to be making wine like this.

Where'd you find it? Love anything that's a Riesling/Gewurz blend. There's a really good one we get from Central Market made by Pillitteri.

ETA: my wine guy told me that Maverick is the distributor in Texas, so if you're wanting some, mention that to your local retailer.

It is a Zwiesel. As for style, I'm not 100% sure. Glancing online it may be the Vervino Cabernet one. I can't remember where we got it from but they have held up great and we really like them. Excellent all around glass for any type of wine IMO.

I think it's the Vervino. I had a set but have mostly traded them out for the Zweisel Pure line. They make such nice glassware.

Popped this open tonight and was pleasantly surprised. Crisp apple, some chalk and lemon with bright acidity and a little toast and cream on the finish.

Celebrating birth of our new granddaughter yesterday.

Cork in amazing shape. Wine opened nicely. Classic old BDX nose. Tannic spine still all there. Fruit a little muted, but nice balance.
