I was pleasantly surprised with Screaming Titan. Purchased without sampling but enjoy the Redwood Line. This one became my favorite.

I very much enjoy Still Austin, especially their Blue Corn BiB.
When someone asks about getting a gift of bourbon/whiskey for someone else, their regular bourbon is one I usually suggest. Find it is an easy entry point for most.

Not a fan of all of Iron Wolf (Spicewood, TX), but cool place to hang out and I love their new Straight Rye product. Been going there since they first opened.

Buddy in Dallas wanted some and I found it at a store in Plano. Grabbed it for him. We both didn't love it for the money. Was first pour, so could open up, but was probably my least favorite Still Austin offering I have had. Just fyi

Any advice for shipping? I'm wanting to send a bottle to a friend in Idaho. Looks like it's technically not legal but I notice people here offering to ship so I assume Fedex/UPS/USPS isn't really looking for it?

The dude working at the UPS store doesn't given a ***** It is especially true if you go to a place like Office Depot.

Just buy the inflatable wine shipping bags off amazon, put it in a box and you should be good. If anyone asks you are shipping old Coke Bottles or homemade scented oils that your wife sells on ETSY.

1. It's illegal via USPS. It's against "policy" for UPS.
2. Pack it better than you think. Throw in something that rattles (mini m&m's or small candy box to hide sound of liquid sloshing).
3. Print label from pirateship.com
4. Pack up box and use UPS "access points". Super random places like AutoZone or CVS.
5. Worry for about 3 days until it arrives.

Macaroni makes a great filler. Dry/uncooked without cheese for *those* Ags

I have always wondered this too. I was able to grab a Heaven Hill Grain to Glass today at Total Wine though.
