looking at the website, allocated BT is secondary+ (which fair enough) but they have some really good bottles for cheap.

They also have a very good selection on the malts i would typically buy and at good prices. I could easily drop some coin there.

Yep. Good people!

We will continue to do picks with them. Crowd sourcing the barrels works out well for everyone in the supply chain. What liquor store owner doesn't like selling a barrel out immediately. Instant cash for them.

Remedy is a great place. We shared a few drinks with the owner after the Houston barrel release. I *wish* I had a place like this on the north side of town... but plcaes like this (and OLC) are just gems for us bourbon folk.

I always buy some extra bottles when i roll through Remedy.

Edit: okay I have no idea where I got this recommendation from but it seems like every review I see is based on their sourced version and not their in-house distilled version. I guess I'll see for myself.

Sipping on the Bardstown origin white label I picked up from the store today.

Bardstown just seems like they can't miss for me. Any distillers like that for you guys?

Yeah, basically it bumps up WT101 from ~6yrs to 8yrs and it adds handpicked barrels from Jimmy.

I love my bottle and went to the store to get more today. They were selling them for $80 each so I got the Bardstown and the Johnny drum instead. I will stop at another place this weekend that I know has them for $50 and buy two more.

What confidentag said. It's 8-9 year old instead of 6-7, and cherry picked by Jimmy. Apparently his all time favorite specs and what he'd make all the time if they let him. Have heard good things for the value and flavor for a "Limited Edition". So at $48.99 grabbed one for my neighborhood club and 1 for me.
