MGP Ingredients, the US distiller home to El Mayor Tequila and Penelope Bourbon, has cut its forecasts for sales and underlying earnings.

The changes came alongside a set of "preliminary" third-quarter results that included a 24% drop in sales.

Started with Maker's 101 (what should be normal mm) then switched to Four Roses smb Select at half when the Maker's ran out…all mixed with soda water so I can last the day and my wife doesn't leave me.

Don't know what the general consensus is on the Wild Turkey Rare Breed, but I'm having my first pour of it and really like it.

I'm not saying my palette is sophisticated or anything of the sort. It's just much better than I anticipated.

It's miles better than the EH Taylor Small Batch I have open. I've started using that bottle as a mixing bourbon.

Used to be a sleeper on shelves but people have caught wind of it. Really good stuff.

Thankfully it can be found on the shelf these days. If one were to put all of the Bourbons on a flavor spectrum, Id say this would fall squarely in the middle. It is probably the most bourbon, bourbon you can get.
