It was considerably different than either SR and RR15. The former ones having more pronounced flavors/notes based on their rickhouses and the latter having the longest finish of all and higher age obviously. They're all the tits, for lack of a better word.

Over MSRP but not full secondary either. Not too bad. I personally don't like Blantons at $100 but know plenty will pay more than that for it.
I'd put the $150 towards a Blanton's Gold or SFTB instead unless you prefer the lower proofs.
I would pay $50 for ER but not $100 for Blantons.

I agree. Gone are the days of ER at 28 msrp. Looking at VABC it now appears to be 44 and and extra 6 dollars is whatever. Any higher im starting to consider other bottles or just grabbing a RR10 SB or KC12.
$100 for Blanton's is just too much, imo, even if retail is sadly creeping up to that. At that price you can easily get much better.

Utah is a control state so ER is $41.99 and Blantons is $74.99. I think Blantons was $49.99 a couple years ago. ECBP is a shelfer at $74.99 so I'll reach for that instead every time.

My Twin was out of Rare Breed, but picked up a Still Austin Cask Strength for $46 and a JD Single Barrel Select for $38.
I grabbed a Redbreast 12 year for $51.

I didn't have any JD in my cabinet at all and i felt like that was wrong somehow .
I got a G2G Bourbon and Blanton's Gold for $215 before tax today. That G2G was like $40 cheaper than it was in store the other day. The rare breed and some other bottle prices were killer but I need to kill bottles more than acquire them at this point.
Getting that tomorrow along w some Oban14.
