Go to Portland OR, stuff just sits in the shelf. 1 store I went into had 2 different store picks just sitting out. It's nuts. Along with the regular BP releases.


My location is in Louisiana. So bizzare how things work outside of Texas. I can get Blantons on the shelf at times.

What about this? It's a review of the '23 and it's not Fort Nelson. I always thought it hadn't been released since '17 like you said.

It says Kentucky only release, and I was assuming fill your own, but did confirm it's Fort Nelson distillery only.

By Kentucky only, they mean Fort Nelson Distillery only. So it's not the fill your own with the special box, but a sometimes release at the Distillery. The only time it's been released outside the Fort Nelson Distillery is the 2017 nationwide release.

He's right, I asked at the distillery, it's a Kentucky only release, basically the bars can get it but the only way we can get it is through bottle your own

I'm cutting bourbon out my life by a lot. Still happy to keep the barrel picks going as the process of it all is more fun to me than consuming at this point.

Heading back to my old roots of "MarathonAg12" and getting back on the trail and pavement. I've met a ton of great people in this community and thankful for the lasting friendships.

It's a shame they're such conflicting hobbies. Even when I enjoy responsibly, I can feel it in the following morning's training. My best solution has become to only partake Thursday evening, recovery run Friday then my long ride or run Saturday morning goes to plan.

No joke. We hosted a get together last weekend and I felt like it took several days to get back on track. Not sure if it was the sweets or the bourbon but it hurt.

Absolutely. Trying to replicate my early 20s is no longer possible haha

I appreciate the response and yes taking care of my long runs Saturday/Sunday is key.

How does bourbon distribution change in other countries, or better yet WHAT gets distributed? I know there's some exclusive "international only" labels, but is it really much different or better than what's available domestically?

When I was running 2 marathons a year I drank a lot less bourbon… 3 kids in 4 years has pushed a couple races back and subsequently more bourbon in the evening. Hoping to break that soon. Maybe some new shoes would help…

New shoes already helped me! The trail running community and scene is fantastic. Looking to get back out there. Guess it's time to head back to the craft beer scene too

It's a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. I'm looking into getting one of those Boss Katanas (50watt) because it's way too much amp for playing in the house. That Gibson Flying V is sweet!

If you have time you ought to head up to newer distillery. Not a bad drive from Park City. The tour is great and the food at the restaurant up there is also really good. The offer a different drink menu than the saloon in Park City as well.

Love that entire area. Can't wait to be back. Hard to pick weather I like it more in the summer or the winter!
