Frey Ranch is a "grain to glass" distiller. Think they used to grow for others and said **** it we'll make our own. I've only tasted the regular but it was pretty good stuff

Don't crucify me but I poured a dickel 8yr on a whim when I got home. And… it's not bad at all actually. Haven't touched it since the initial neck pour turned me off. Glad I gave it another shot.

Not bad for the $20 I spent on it at Costco.

I'm too new to the bourbon scene to know if 1792 FP being in stock in BCS is noteworthy. Spec's on University had 4 bottles when I was there today, can't remember ever seeing it there. $47.

It is not a store pick or anything just plain 1792 Full Proof (125).

The last 2-3 months the1792 BiB, SB and FP have become pretty common to find. Prior to that it was rare but not extraordinarily so. I don't know where Barton got all of this capacity but they have been releasing a ton more of their own stuff as well as doing a **** load of contract stuff (see half of the bottles on the shelf at TW).

Either way all of the 1792 products are worth their price point and i would definitely recommend buying a bottle of the FP at less than $50.
