When I got Covid I kept smelling baking chocolate chip cookies.

It was pretty awesome.

I opened my oven about 3 times because I was so bewildered.

Ehh. It doesn't bother me all that much for established products or selling off bottles. If people are wildly out of line on prices they get corrected really quickly. Now if someone posts something for sale at full secondary and they haven't left the parking lot yet, well ****'em.

I've sold plenty of bottles to folks here at retail and i have also sold some BTAC at secondary. i have seen plenty of posts the last few days in the trade thread that i thought was pretty good prices.

funny enough If we look at bmfvet pictures i traded a $500 bottle of ETL for a $65 bottle of Colkegan.

I want to know who is buying BT at $60. Good lord.

The funniest part to me is that W12 at $160 is actually a really good price comparatively.

I enjoyed it, small place but cool vibe. We're at our friend's place for the weekend and they are a mile north of RC so easy drop in for a tasting and tour. Granted I'm a massive fan boy of that double barrel spanish oak so I was not gonna be disappointed and the wife enjoys it too (along with some of their flavored vodka which I cannot get onboard with).

As long as she is drinking that and not Tito's you can't complain too much. I will definitely have to check it out next time I'm in the area.

Milam & Greene distillery is in the same area. I really like their juice. Wife bought me a "tasting and bottling" experience a few years back. Their matter distiller, Marlene, is a hoot. Lots of generous samples straight from the barrels. Bottling was fun. Been back a few times - they make very good old fashioneds. Their "Unabridged" batch was excellent.

Not a bad day on the hunt. Manager told me he didn't have anything though. Liar.
