I've got a conference scheduled in Sept just for an excuse to go tour the Westland distillery in Seattle.

Not going past PDX. It's funny, from Alaska and I've never spent time in Seattle past the airport.
Any Portland recs? Any spirit? The best gin I've ever had was from there but that was 20 years ago.
Westward should be all over Portland. The cask str is so ****ing good and easily one of the best single malts. Its pretty much a rich chocolate bomb.

The fentanyl epidemic is so bad.

I haven't bought a bottle of GB in probably a decade. Outside of a couple of the random glasses i've had i really don't have an opinion of it one way or the other, except for the honeydew - that is just not good.

http://www.oregonliquorsearch.com lets you see which store has specific bottles in stock. It has been pretty accurate when I've been hunting.
Westmoreland Liquor is my favorite store in Portland. They usually have quite a few store picks,

Just did the release for our most recent BVBS pick. Only at Libations in Bryan. She's got 5 bottles available today and another 2 cases coming next week.
Pursuit really does put out good whiskey. Wish I could get a bottle of their distillery only double oak. Supposed to taste a lot like some of the good dusties that those guys loved

Snagged a SFTB today at the Total Wine drop in Las Colinas. Showed up at 2:30 pm and didn't wait in line for an instant. Maybe things are actually improving.
SFTB hit Austin as well.

Yep the one I got teased for last week was $200 out the door. I found another ETL today for $120. It's been a good week in centex. Our Spec's haven't had anything in a few weeks so maybe next Friday will bring something.
It's good but it ain't $199 good. I just don't ever see myself buying a bottle at that price.
