I lived in Scottsdale for 4 years, it was just as hard there to find allocated bourbon as it is here. The Walmart Staggs is not normal. The one thing I do miss is the great collection at Sam's Club/Costco in AZ

Found this stash while in Positano last week. After talking with the owner, he gets most of these bottles from the UK, although he mentioned that he has a friend in the US that sends him "regular" bottles (BT, Makers, Woodfords, Knob Creek) every now and then.

Thought you guys would enjoy.

I've always wondered how much gets shipped/distributed abroad. We all know about Japan but wasn't much of the stock confiscated from Justin's from Norway or some such?

I go elementary school fountain drink suicide mode: ECBP, Larceny BP, OFSBBP, Bernheim BP, and some Makers CS to get some more wheat in there. I don't have anything super special on my shelves right now, but those are all winners.

No doubt. If we went "best bottles I personally owned", my Blantons SFTB was outstanding, and my Knob Creek 25th anniversary was a damn solid bottle. Didn't hurt that I got it for $85 when it was $140. Also kicking myself that about 9 years ago I had the opportunity to buy a THH and a GTS for $300 each and I didn't. Had a newborn at the time and couldn't justify it.
