Instead of spending money at Total Wine to get rejected, why not just pay secondary?
It's more useful than specs points unless you spend 10k+

Closest store to my house. I get a lot of good bottles there throughout the year at retail. It only takes about $200 of wine to get to their top level if you use their coupons.

Received my quarterly rejection as well.
Because I've won a lot and don't want to become friends with random Spec's employees.
Another rejection for me. I'll just live vicariously through the winners, just like I do after my Masters rejection email as well.

Well tbh, now that I'm working 8-5, inpatient therapy, my hunting days are over. Plus, all I really need is OLC.

Any notes/thoughts on the Garrison Bros Balmorhea?
For as much as I thought their regular old stuff was meh, I've really enjoyed the Guadalupe and the Honeydew. The stuff I've read online gave the Balmorhea very high marks - even at its price point. I've got just enough scratch left in my bourbon budget for the month to pick up a bottle this weekend if necessary.

If you wait you might be able to catch it on sale at the twin liquor dollar days. Some of the higher priced items are discounted a good bit.
The fact that you think Honey Dew is good is a little concerning.
But balmorhea got me into Garrison Brothers.
I'm telling you dude, Garrison Bros Single barrel cask strength and Cowboy Bourbon is their best offerings.

I'm not super into heavy and forward oak/leather flavors on my bourbon. I might get there, but I'd say I'm still a little green - although I don't mind proof. As you know the regular GB stuff is pretty woodsy, at least it was to me. So, the Honeydew was my first GB product outside of their regular bottle. I liked that it was different so that's when I really started doing my research on the distillery and how they make their stuff.
I enjoyed the story about them dipping the cut staves in Texas honey then plunging it into the bourbon. I was a fan from there.
The Guadalupe is much more intense and complex. I really liked it a lot. I haven't seen Cowboy on any shelves in B/CS recently. I figured I'd go with a Balmorhea first since they seem to be pretty ready available for purchase around here.
