I've got four and three was a big adjustment for sure. Four was easier than three for us. I mean there is still new born stuff that is tough but my wife loves that phase. I don't.

Their cask strength is very good and one of the few Texas whiskeys I like, but I don't need it that bad.

Setting aside the tsip sponsorship, I haven't had a bad bottle from them. The gin is even good.

I just started getting into rye recently, so I haven't had many of their rye offerings yet. I did grab their Spring BiB Straight Rye recently and it's fantastic so I will definitely be grabbing the Ruby Red Rye. I'm looking forward to comparing it to MWND.

Their cask strength rye is really good. They do 100% rye as opposed to the typical 95/5 recipe and I tend to get more fruity flavors off of it. I'll try and grab one of these since I'll be there the following week anyway.

I still haven't had the regular rye or cask strength but have heard nothing but good things about them. Especially the cask strength.

I had some of their rye white dog on a tour there a year or two before they started releasing any rye products. It was good enough un-aged that my buddy and I that tasted it were fairly excited to hear when it finally came to market.

My point is, I pass the Texas bourbon stuff all the time in the bourbon aisle. I look at the "corps of cadet" bottle or the "train car" bottle and it's all 2 years or less and just looks gross

Be patient on the Hush & Whisper stuff. Their oldest stuff is only 9 months old, but the white whiskey they're serving right now has a ton of promise. I was really impressed.

Looks like there are three distilleries in the Brazos Valley. I've only ever seen the Bonfire Bourbon on the shelves but never bought it.

2 years is long enough in Texas to produce something drinkable, if they do it right. Have any of them been around long enough to have a decently aged product?

If any of them make an ASM ill buy it. Can't be any worse than the bottle from an Oklahoma company i bought that is literally worse than drain cleaner.
