I dont think Stagg makes it further south than SA.

Stopped by total wind over lunch today to see if they had anything and noticed that a few bottles were marked down relative to the normal price. Picked up the ones below which were both marked down. I was afariad i wouldn't like the Sherry Cask after having the Jack Sherry Cask finished special release but its really mild in this bottle.

I picked up the Sinister, because while its a gimmick, I like a lot of Left Hand products. Had just a sip but overall it has a much different flavor but is pretty enjoyable and much better than it has any right to be.

Never seen stag jr in the wild. Period. Not even above msrp. Only at bars for $30 a pour. That's my unicorn.

I buy Stagg in Portland town. Definitely makes it past Santone.

Found a bottle in Montana yrs ago. Been nursing it since.
It is Stagg Jr Batch 7 130 proof. Phenomenal stuff.

It is the rarest bottle I have ever owned. The rest are things most on this board wouldn't think are rare (e.g., Blanton's, Weller antique, EH Taylor, etc).
I just refuse to pay too much on secondary and am not a big enough liquor buyer to get on a store's list.

You'll get one eventually. That was my unicorn bottle for the longest time and I was so happy when I finally got one. I've found a couple now and it's still one of my favorite pours. Hopefully you find one soon!

Oh im sure it does. Was just making a comment of what i have seen at the local TW and Specs.

For me these days im happy just buying a bottle of every random ASM that hits the shelf, which fortunately for me is usually at a discounted price cause no one else drink its. Somewhat reminds me on when i first graduated and every bottle that folks hunt for were just collecting dust on a shelf somewhere.

Edit - Had a healthy pour of the Sinister Whiskey during the first half of the ladies game tonight. Im extremely impressed by it. Its basically a chocolate malt. If you like malted whiskeys and see it at TW for 30ish bucks id highly recommend grabbing a bottle.

The Single Barrel Reserve? You should be able to find that at most Specs or Total Wine for about $60. Really good. Highly recommend.

I know you are a Stranahan's fan. There is one out here in CO for $200. It was the 10yr bottle. Is that high? Is it worth it?

I found a Sazerac store pick in CS the other day. Also hadn't seen one before.

Good price on the SiB and it's a great pour. The Full Proof and picks are pretty available and you can find them for $50. The Aged 12 Years is probably their best offering but you shouldn't have to pay more than $60 for it.

If it is the Mountain Angel its overpriced. Can order it off the website for 120 and Total Wine in Denver has it for like 100.

If it is a Snowflake grab it and if you don't want it Ill happily send you the money.

My buddy picked up the 12 year for $100 today, which was high. $150 is way too high.

I found another one today. Where are you located? I'm willing to sell at cost if we can arrange meetup. (Can pm or move to trade thread).

the Jdsbbp is a good pour. Willet rye is a personal go to.

I've heard really great things about Architect, I just haven't cracked mine yet. I don't care for what I've had of Basil Hayden's, it always feels flat to me. I've only had Michter's once and didn't love it. Obviously, everyone had different tastes, but Architect or Jack Daniel's are the rarer ones on there.
