The way I see it, I think the kids owe ME a bottle of GTS or something nice when they turn 21 for keeping them alive and dealing with their crap for the previous 21 years. Currently, my oldest owes me at LEAST one bottle of every BTAC. And he is only 9.

By that notion, I'll have all the Pappy's by the time mine is 21.....
I'm planning my retirement. It will be either Sep '24, Sep 25 or Dec 31, 2025.
Not sure what I'm going to bust out for that one, but it won't be a cheap bottle, that's for sure. Right now, it would be a Pappy's 23 year, if I can get it. However, since I'm still learning, I may have another request by then. LOL

Nice to see Texas can now receive booze from out of state, didn't think that was an option. My secondary objective for buying this was to verify we can do that. Now if we can get Scotch shipped from out of country, currently Laphroaig can't ship to Texas.

I didn't get a receipt, but it was $133 out the door all together.
That's not a horrible deal then. They have many fancy bottles stacked with ridiculous proce tags.
I walked into the CS Specs location on Texas Ave around 12:30 and was able to grab a Stagg, ER and Blantons. They were handing them out from the managers office and looked like they had at least 5 cases of each.
Thanks for the heads up! I was able to get a Stagg and Blanton's at the Spec's in Sugar Land!
I walked into two different specs. One "oh yeah, we all got some". The other, clearly giving the stiff arm "oh yeah, we got some Buffalo Trace."
