Our picking team scrutinizes each barrel pretty good and keeps standards high. We definitely pass around notes to each other after everyone has had a chance to go through the samples.

Picked up a bottle of the Old Pepper American Single Malt this afternoon. If anyone is looking to dip their toes into the ASM world this i(along with Woodford) is a good starting point. You can definitely taste the malt but overall there are a ton of bourbon flavors compared to stuff like Westland.
