Anyone ever had any of the Lost Lanterns? I saw a guy on YouTube recommending Lost Lantern 2023 Winter Collection: "Brooklyn Bakery" Kings County Distillery New York Bourbon.

Available through Seelbachs.

Met them at a whiskey festival earlier this year. If I remember correctly they only do single barrels of barrels from distilleries all over. Tried a couple they had that night and they were pretty good, but all dependent on the barrel and the distillery that barrel came from

Given that most folks buy booze at the grocery store, the mom and pop stores are much different than they are in Texas. Generally the selection is trash and most regular folks dont go to them.

The ways i used to find good stuff - Ask the people behind the customer service desk at BevMo if they have anyhting or find a local or neighborhood grocery store that would remind you of a central market. I used to get all sorts of good stuff at my local one on occasion.

Edit - Costco is also a good place to check

I could have sworn someone here posted a spot near San Diego that consistently had good stuff.

I finally got to try this, whatever the latest batch is anyway. Loved it and hope to find one at MSRP one day but probably won't.

Gifted an EHT BP to a buddy that got married and even got a Stagg 23A in return. Nice exchange there.

Virginia Tater Fest 2023 is about to hit. Just got the VABC email that there will be a limited availability event this Saturday.

This is easily the biggest list i have seen in a good while. Wont post it all but there is about 70 or so bottles.

Just moved to a TW area in South Carolina. I have the app and have started buying. Where do I find out about the 10x for wine promos? I have only seen x off Winery Direct or Whatever. I was helping a buddy in CA with this yesterday. The deals vary by location, based on what you choose as your "preferred store" in your account settings. You also will only see the 10x points deals if you have a preferred store set before the deal goes live. I recommend setting your preferred store to a Texas one and then wait and see if the 10x points offer comes up when it renews. My current one expires 12/10 so it will be sometime after that.

Luckily it seems to not mess with the GPS selection of a store close to you for actual shopping, just determines which deals you get and maybe some emails or something, not sure.

Thanks everyone for the replies. The deal must be as stated above. I have deals to activate and have…gift bags, discounts off classes, and $ and % off of spirits or winery direct. But have never seen the 10x points or anything like it. Will switch my store to one in Texas and see if that triggers the deal.

these were drops at total wine stores around the country for grand reserve members. I believe most people left the RRSR on the shelf because of the price tag, so they opened it up for people to grab if they already had something else
