Finally the stores got Bowman back in stock which I was able to pick up on the way home to grab another package that arrived today as well.

At my local go-to getting a few handles of cheap tequila for the neighborhood cinco de mayo party. I'm checking out with the old mostly retired dude that cashiers there and he says 'you have 40 reward dollars, wanna use em?' To which I said no I'm saving up for a bottle of whisky on the shelf over there. They put blantons and other hard to get stuff in a locked case that you can buy at retail, but with only reward dollars ($5 per $100, so for a $100 bottle you'd need to spend $2k)

He says ahh gotcha, well hey they had a whisky release this morning, blantons and eagle rare.. I said are there some left? He said the guy just before you had one.

Sure enough, walk back to whisky counter and I see a row 20 deep. They got a 192 bottles from this barrel pick, so even with 120 people in line at opening, he said still plenty left and slowly going now.

I told my neighbor, he got one said just 6 left, so lasted half a day anyway. Not bad.

The eagle rare was only 12, so those were gone.
