Depends on what you spent. But if I've never had a bookers and you found one for a good price then you done well. I liked the batches I've had. Not my favorite but still worth having in the collection a few times.

Agree. Been there and done near the same price for a bottle of bookers. In this new environment your $100 probably went further than mine. No shame adding that if you've never had it. and every batch has a different outcome so yours could be solid. I haven't bought one in the last year or 2

The Penelope is a good one, I've really enjoyed the toasted that I picked up a couple months back.

3 years ago 100 for Booker's would have been a bit much now as others have said its practically MSRP. The Penelope also gets pretty good reviews. I'd say you did just fine.

What do you all think of the cask strength High n wicked? I see it's available at TW and comes in at around 126 proof. I remember seeing a couple reviews saying to grab it if you see it. Just wanted an honest Aggie (I know that's redundant lol) opinion.

Incredibly misleading marketing to call it "22" when it is definitely not a 22 year old whiskey - especially since they will probably price it as if it were.

And to be fair their newest batch of freshman were probably all 18. Of course i have no clue what that has to do with this thread.
