Doesnt pappy change every year beause the process was inconsistent until about 10 years ago? And current pappy is nothing like the original release?

Passed on a Larceny BP this morning since I still have an older one to drink. Killed an OFSBBS the other night and hope to knock out a few more bottles soon. Gotta make room first.

Yes. Spec's in Jersey Village had one Larceny BP on the shelf earlier today. Looked like the ECBP and McKenna 10 were already gone, but maybe they had more in the back..

Let me know your thoughts on the larceny. Its fortunately easy to get around here but I have yet to grab one.

The Eight Row Flint pick was one of my least favorite that I've tried, but the variance was expected. A little young and harsh overall for me.

Spec's in JV had plenty of the RC DB Spanish Oak as well. The newest Old Charter Oak (*not yet released) is supposed to be Spanish Oak-aged as well I think.

Larceny Barrel proof is easily available? Pick one up! Not a big investment for a great bottle

Yep, we learned that the RC Spanish Oak was quite a story. I have two bottles now, that stuff is good.

ABC has it as something that isn't rare enough to be allocated or a drop but rare enough that it isn't as every store but i can order one online at anytime and my local store always has it on the shelf.

My main curiosity is how this batch stacks up against the last one as i have heard and read differing opinions.

I'm trying to get into more Heaven Hill products. ECBP is really the only product I like.

I haven't loved the HH BiB or HM10. I have a bottle of ECTB that I haven't tried yet and this is the first time I've gotten a bottle of ECBP to try. I enjoyed the Larceny BP A120 that I've tried. Haven't opened A122, B522 or C922 yet. Now I have an A123 to add into the four way taste test.

HH7 and HM10 are both solid pours- just don't get why they are hard to find. I will pick those up if/when I see them at retail. Evan Williams single barrel (no longer nationally distributed) kicked both their butts, yet sat on the shelf.

ECTB is good and seems to be way more plentiful now than it was 2-3 years ago.

ECBP and store picks are all legit. Event the "bad" ones are very good, especially at a retail price point. Was in Michigan two summers ago and every store had cases of ECBP, so maybe we just don't get enough down here.

Evan William Single Barrel was my go to until it disappeared. It was a top value in bourbon.

ECTB isn't necessarily bad but for 60 bucks or whatever msrp is im grabbing a bottle of 1920, something i will actually enjoy, and not thinking twice about it.

I have enjoyed any ECBP release i have had. No complaints there. 2 year ago is was another that was plentiful here but and usually will stay on the shelves for a few days when it is dropped.

They pulled em all back to only Kentucky I think. Was by far my favorite at the $30 and under price point and I'd usually use them as the go-to gift for someone hosting a party, etc. Never received a complaint.

i've heard mixed reviews about their offerings and never had any of them.

just picked up a EC Private barrel (8 yr) and really excited to try it. i love the ECTB and ECBP (c922) so im sure i will. somehow ive turned into a heaven hill fanboy over here. HH BiB, and HM10 are all in my rotation and quite enjoyable.

Amazing people already picking up the new JD 10/12 and already trying to flip them for 300. How they set the prices already on day 1?

If it makes you feel any better, I found a JD10 at retail today on accident and left it on the shelf for the next person.
