So how do they not know the proof yet? seems odd, but then again I don't know much about the process.

Picked up some EHT SmB at Spec's during lunch. How do they do their allocated limit? Could I go in after work and pick up another bottle if any is left? Or is their system able to track it so you can only buy one per day, or just one per shipment so that you have to wait until the next time they receive an allocation?

They had it in the back so I have no idea what is still available.

i think it varies from store to store. most of the ones i frequent are pretty strict about limiting it to one per customer per transaction. if you went back later, i would think the only way they could track it is by your key club card, so if you didn't use it for one of the purchases, i'm not sure how they'd know unless they just remembered you.

that said, i've never actually tried it

Yesterday total wine lady told me a guy got a bottle of the Penelope Rio. Then he was in parking lot asking people to go buy him another. She said they were watching ask multiple people. I missed last bottle by 5 min.
